We Walk We Snap We Blog

This morning (Sunday) we took Jack Dog for a walk about town.
We sat down near the old Pilots Jetty for an hour and watched the world wake up. It was very peaceful and oh so pretty.
Later on we had bacon and egg burgers for brekkie at the Cooktown Cafe, then walked to the supermarket and grabbed some milk, pineapple and coconut juice, And some bread.
Then we went back to bed and slept for a couple hours.
Hello midday!

The photos:
The Sovereign Resort pool at sunrise.
Some wallabies in the middle of town (we weren’t quick enough to snap the scrub turkeys).
Tina and Jack admiring the river.
The cairn commemorating where Capt Cook breached his ship.
Looking upstream from the old Pilots Jetty.
A clean river. Part of the old Jetty.
Tina and Jack on the little beach by the Jetty.
The old cement work of the Jetty (circa 1887).
Looking towards the ocean.
The information sign at the Jetty and the croc ed sign at the town boat ramp.

I thought you might be interested in this site. I subscribe to it and they have posted some very interesting articles on all different forms of cancer and the various treatments.
I haven’t taken the time yet, to search for anything that you are looking for, but I thought you might find something of interest.
